Invisalign Clear Braces
Straighter Smile, Sophisticated Image with Invisalign Clear Braces
You want a straight, beautiful smile, but you're not a kid anymore. Braces are for children, right? Not anymore. Adults and older teens who want to straighten teeth without having to wear bulky metal braces are turning to clear braces by Invisalign. Dr. Michael Morgan, an Invisalign-certified dentist, can plan and oversee your orthodontic treatment with clear braces.
Invisalign aligners are created with clear acrylic, and they do not affix to teeth. This makes them both inconspicuous and removable. In addition, because no metal bands or elastics are required, Invisalign aligners feel comfortable compared to traditional orthodontics. It's no wonder that Invisalign is the clear choice for image-conscious patients!
Dr. Michael Morgan will use 3D imaging to develop a unique treatment plan just for you, then send your case to the Invisalign lab. There, the technicians will create a series of clear aligners to reposition your teeth gradually. You will wear an aligner for about two weeks before moving to the next in your series. Though traditional orthodontic adjustment appointments are not necessary, you'll need to visit Dr. Michael Morgan every six weeks so that he can assess your progress. Treatment time varies, but most patients should expect to wear Invisalign for 9-18 months.
Invisalign

FDA approved Invisalign is the “invisible” way to straighten your teeth without wearing conventional metal braces. Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable custom-made aligners to move your teeth. Because you remove your aligners before you eat and drink, there are no food restrictions or problems with flossing or brushing. This technology is also more comfortable, avoiding the mouth abrasions that can be caused by the metal and wires of conventional braces. And this technology is also more convenient, since you are likely to spend less time in the doctor’s office getting adjustments.
Invisalign uses 3-D computer imaging technology to design the complete treatment plan, from the initial teeth positioning to the desired final positioning. This 3-D imaging allows you to preview the final positioning of your teeth before you start treatment. Custom-made aligners are created based on the imaging information. Each of these aligners moves teeth incrementally and is worn for about 2 weeks. Typically, you will visit your dentist once every 6 weeks for “progress reports.” Not every situation can be treated with Invisalign, so call the office to get an evaluation to see if you can be helped with this new technology.
